Do you just deal with the issues listed above?
No, I deal with all sorts of issues. Book a call and we can discuss your individual issues.
Do you help children?
I do not help children under the age of 16.
Is it confidential?
Yes, everything you say is confidential. However, I must do something if I believe you or others are in danger. I will, however, discuss this with you before I take any action. I also have to have supervision, and so clients are discussed with my supervisor.
What happens if you cannot help me?
I have a network of other therapists who I know and trust, and so if I cannot help you then I will know someone who can. I will therefore refer you on to another therapist.
When do you work?
I work 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday. Weekend appointments are available on request.
Can I really talk about anything I want?
Yes, therapy is a time and space which is just for you where you are free to be and discuss whatever you want. It is a safe space which is totally confidential and non-judgmental.
How do I know that I need therapy?
If you are struggling with any emotional issue, then therapy can help you. You do not need to be in a state of crisis to go to therapy.
When is it best to get therapy?
As soon as possible. It is much easier to help you when the issues start to arise, as they are less embedded.
